HALALAN 2013 in the Philippines.
First of all, i don’t even understand why we bother having elections in this country. It always turns out to be very disappointing especially like afterwards.. When assholes are actually already in position and people are all complaining about how the government sucks. SERIOUSLY?! NEWSFLASH: the people running this government are there because the citizens of this nation are the ones that voted for them, so who are you to complain?Β
We’ve been through this and through this. Every election, another bonehead is elected and we end up complaining about how they’re running the place. This happens all the time!! People!! You have got to wake up!!!! I am so sad for our country every time the results of another election are announced on television and as a matter of fact, my family just decided to just turn the TV off this time to save us the disappointment that we already know is coming.
I believe that choosing a leader is tough, but damn. Shouldn’t we atleast really think about the people we’re voting for? I wish that voters took one moment to look at there ballots and thought for once if they are voting for a sane person. Not some person you know because they carry the name of their parents or uncle or whatever, not someone with a nice advertisement on TV, but someone who actually did make a difference for this country. If all voters would do that, if all voters actually took the time to reflect on who they are actually voting for, then our country could’ve had the chance to become a better one. We already have the natural resources. All we need is REAL people who actually do care and who are actually COMPETENT enough to make a difference.Β
One last thing, if all the things that these aspiring politicians are true.. how they actually want to help out here, how they want to improve the ways of the country.. they should keep in mind what Vic Sotto said. How one does not need a position in the government to make a difference.
